Obituary Richard 'Nankers' Nankivell

We were informed of Richard's death via Nick Cooper (P 1963-67) and Peter Price (W 1963).

Richard worked on air for BFBS between 1972 and 1992, and was affectionately called 'Nankers'. He left a lasting impression on his many listeners over the years, many of them in the Forces.

The BFBS Facebook page features many fond and amusing anecdotes from well-wishers, and is well worth a look.
