Take a Seat Concert for our Special Donors

Thank you to all the wonderful donors who so kindly ‘purchased’ a seat to replace the chairs in Big School. A small plaque is adhered to each chair to recognise their support.

Many of these chairs were bought to reflect the positive experiences our Community has had with Blundell’s over the years. We are delighted that these chairs will remain in situ for many years and become a symbolic representation of our donor’s appreciation of Blundell’s and our appreciation of them.

We held a fantastic concert to thank these donors and you can see the photos from the event here.

Tour of Blundell's with Archivist Mike Sampson

When was the last time you visited Blundell's? Why not come back for a tour of the school with school Archivist Mike Sampson.

Our wonderful Archivist Mike is retiring at the end of this term so its a great opportunity to hear from Mike before he retires.

Alumni Race – 11 December

Calling all Alumni Runners, join us for our annual Hare and Hounds Alumni Race at Wimbledon Common at 2.30pm on Saturday 11 December.

Please email us to be added to the team. All running abilities welcome. Non-alumni runners welcome but they will not score for the team.

Guinness World Record Holder Speaker & Lunch @ Blundells

Come and listen to Nick Butter; Guinness World Record Holder for being the first person to run a marathon in every country in the world.

Nick Butter is an endurance athlete who ran a marathon in every country in the world in 2018 raising over £200,000 for Prostate Cancer. His story is a remarkable one; his travels and daily challenges eye-opening. Don’t miss this opportunity to listen to someone truly remarkable

Nick is a fantastic speaker and it’s an incredibly interesting topic for runners and non-runners alike.

The day is on Friday 10 December from noon to 2pm and includes lunch for £15.
