Careers events – would you be interested in being a guest speaker?

Running alongside our Careers and PSHE programme, Blundell's run a wide variety of careers events over the course of the year for pupils. The purpose is to 'inspire, enthuse and engage' students in the many opportunities open to them.

After several years of running these events virtually, we are delighted to be returning to in-person events once again, to resume the important face to face contact we have all missed. We are always so grateful to our guest speakers, for sharing their experiences and expertise with the students, and in particular, to our parent and Old Blundellian community, for providing invaluable opportunities for our students to learn, ask questions and network.

If you would be interested in presenting a careers-based talk or could offer work experience or career mentoring to any of our students, it would be great to hear from you. Please contact either Mrs Pippa Bucknell, Head of Higher Education & Careers, pcb@blundells.org or the Development Office if you would like to get involved.

The next available opportunity is on Friday 11 March, where we will be running a series of careers talks for our yrs 11-13, from 4.10-5.10pm, as part of the enrichment programme.

Passing of Edward Symes

We are sorry to announce the passing of Edward (Ned) Symes III. Ned attended Blundell's as an English Speaking Union Fellow in 1963/64.

"He loved to tell friends he passed his A Levels and that year was the best decision he ever made. (I, of course, liked to remind him that marrying me might have been the best😉)" - Merrielou Symes

We'd like to thank the Symes family for making a donation to Blundell's on his behalf. If you have a loved one that has passed and would like to discuss a donation in their honour, please do get in touch with the Development Office (devoffice@blundells.org or tel. 01884 232324).
