143rd Russell Run - 4 March

Our 143rd Annual Russell Run is taking place this Saturday (4 March)! Good luck to all the runners! And its not too late to join the fun yourself!

Come to the start line down at the Prep School (park at Senior School and walk up). Parents, Old Blundellians and Friends are welcome to run either the ‘Open’ Russell race, which is 5 miles or the ‘Fun’ Run, which is 2.4 miles.

Boys Rugby Semi-Final Match - Live Streamed

Good luck to our 1st XV Rugby Boys team who are competing in the U18 National Cup semi final this Saturday.

The match takes place on Saturday 4 March at 11.45am vs Trinity and can be live streamed via the England Rugby YouTube channel.

Charity Art Exhibition

We'd like to extend an invitation on behalf of Mrs Lara Wielenga to attend the Blundell's Spring Art Exhibition.

The Art Exhibition is open to the public during the following times;

-Friday 17th March 8:30am-6.00pm
-Saturday 18th March 8:30am- 5.00pm

Please do drop in if you can, no need to book. Refreshments will be on offer and there are raffle prizes to be won (card or cash accepted). Various parking options available including behind Big School. Exhibition will be held at Blundell House (the Head's House).

Blundell’s School announces new Director of Cricket Dean Headley

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Director of Cricket, Mr Dean Headley. Dean will be joining Blundell’s in the Summer Term 2023. 

Dean had a very successful career as a cricketer, most notably as an international playing for England from 1996 to 1999. His professional career spanned 11 years, he played for Kent, Middlesex and Worcestershire.

The Old Blundellian Club and Committee are delighted to announce that OB Day will take place on Saturday 10th June 2023. Please save the date. 

We are delighted to announce that Olivia Pinkney nee Richards (GH 1986-1988), Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary, has agreed to be President for the day.

We welcome as our Preacher the greatly respected Andrew Berrow (Staff 1997-present, Head of RS 1998-present, Housemaster of Petergate 1999-2012, Head of Boarding 2006-2012 and Senior Master 2012-present).

Reading the lesson at the Chapel Service will be Eleanor Freeman (née Swarbrick, GH 1983-85).

The evening will be celebrating the Rugby World Cup, along with raising funds for some terrific charitable causes among good friends and food.
