Giving Day - 22 & 23 June
We are delighted to be hosting our first-ever Giving Day next week on 22 & 23 June. You will have already begun receiving emails about this special initiative as a member of our Blundell's Community.
This week, we welcomed back Old Blundellian and previous bursary recipient, Luke Simpson (pictured) to speak to the pupils at Latin Prayer about his time at Blundell’s, here is a short excerpt from what he had to say:
“I didn’t know at the time, just how much this change [bursary place] was going to affect my life, but it [Blundell's] would prove to be the best opportunity ever given to me. My first year at Blundell’s allowed me to capitalise on my talents and develop new ones. I engaged with activities I never previously had time for. The change in culture I experienced through attending Blundell’s towards academics was instrumental in allowing me to eventually achieve good grades at both GCSE and A-level and get into my university of choice. I could go on indefinitely about the opportunities Blundell's gave me, the well-rounded holistic education I received is by far the most valuable gift I have ever received.
