Obituary Richard (Dick) Davies

He loved his rugby, excelled at maths, studied the weather, accountancy, joined the RAF as an officer, was a test pilot for Rolls Royce and retired a British Airways captain. After retirement he flew pop stars and groups on their tours around the US and Canada. He also did a stint delivering dead bodies in small propeller aircraft back to their hometowns to reunite them with their families. He very much loved life, women and beer and of course his rugby supporting Wales all his life. He retired to Canyon Lake in Texas some forty years ago and died there recently, he was 93. He had the most inappropriate sense of humour but we all laughed with him, he did so love a good laugh!
