David, peacefully after a brief illness, passed away on 23rd December 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved husband to Margaret (née daCosta). Loving father of Bridget Chandler and Judi (the late Paul Taggart). Cherished grandfather of five grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Daniel and Violet (née Stokoe) and by his brother Dan. David was an international financial security consultant, an accomplished author and a wonderful story-teller. He loved travelling the world reading his many books as well as playing chess. David was also a true gentleman.
