Obituary John Haarer
John Haarer died peacefully at his home in Canada on October 15, 2009. Having trained as a Flying Officer with the RCAF he settled in Toronto and became a successful businessman having bought out Chloride Canada Ltd.. He was an avid golfer, but his sporting love was rugby which he played for 59 years with various teams all over the world. He leaves behind two children, Susan and Louise, from his first marriage and three, Jacqueline, Paul and Yvonne, from his second marriage.
