David (Dan) Pillar, 11 April 1929 - 6 January 2012
Dan was the third brother to attend Blundell's following Robert and William. After many years in the meat processing industry and involvement in St Edmundsbury diocese, he was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant of Suffolk in 1995. He enjoyed 25 years of retirement and 55 years of marriage. He leaves wife Val and children Mark, Chris and Claire.
